What is Saturate Therapy?
Saturation describes an amount of fullness or richness - whether that be in a liquid solution, a piece of art, or even life itself. In music, saturation is a type of warm, colorful distortion that brings recordings to life; in photography, it’s a measure of the of bold color you see in an image; and in life, saturation happens when we have the emotional resources to be fully present. When our world is saturated, our senses wake up, we become naturally creative, and we enjoy where we are. I intend our work together to increase your life’s saturation – bringing out more warmth, color, and fullness in your experience.
To do this, I incorporate elements of mindfulness, somatic intervention, cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment theory, and humanism into therapy to help you deepen your sense of security, self-worth, and support. This gives way to greater fulfillment at work, in relationships, and within yourself.
I’ve been practicing therapy in the Bay Area for over 5 years, focusing on helping teens and adults cultivate more nourishing attitudes, habits, and relationships.
I started practicing therapy when my music career stalled. What was once a way to explore my deepest experiences became a source of pain, and I went to therapy as a client in search of a space that offered me what music once did. Through honest reflection and self-expression, therapy became my place of rejuvenation. Eventually, music became that again, too.
I’d love to help you discover what I did: that being your full self within a strong, loving connection creates vitalizing freedom.
Please reach out if I can share any more about this. I hope we can work together!
